Modtro due Urban Dictonary (and ofcourse Modtro himself) :

~ cross between modern and retro ~
“It all goes back when Modtro just was a little boy. At the age of 9 he already had is own radioshow, at the local radio station. In 1993 Modtro left the radiostation, the director found that he was spinning too many house music. After a while Modtro discovered the turntables en vinyl again and he started spinning records at little parties (remember the legendary parties at Primus and Yes).
In that period Modtro also met Energyca (back in the days known as the Exorcist). Where he still is working with right now.
In 2001 Modtro played his first “big” gig at the well known Huize Maas in Groningen. After this it became quiet around Modtro. In 2003 he decided that it was time to makes his comeback and with success. In 2004 and 2005 Modtro spinned his records (nowadays early rave,jump,oldschool and techno) at successful parties like Mythology @ Kardinge Groningen,Shit Happens @ Simplon Groningen,Nightlive @ Maastricht,Dr.Rude’s birthday party @ P60,Amstelveen and many many more!
2006′s gonna rock for Modtro and Energyca,as residents of Massiv Events they will make you dance this year !”
